History of AID

AID was founded in 1991 by a small group of graduate physics students and their  professor in  College Park, Maryland. Since then, it has grown to over 40 chapters in the U.S. and several  overseas. From a small group of students in College Park, AID now has over 2000 members and over 300 active volunteers all over the world.
