Union Carbide/DOW and Bhopal
The gas leak at a Union Carbide plant in Bhopal is known as the the worst industrial disaster of all time. However, what is even more striking is that people are dying as a direct result of the gas leak that occurred in 1984. Union Carbide, which has since merged with Dow Chemical, has all but ignored its liability to the people of Bhopal for its negligence. It is our goal to raise awareness about Bhopal and hopefully help garner justice for the thousands of people still affected by Union Carbide's recklessness.
