Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about the Maize Rage, along with some answers!

Q. Who is in the Maize Rage?

A. Any student season ticket holder is automatically a member of the Maize Rage, and will recieve a free t-shirt to wear to the games.

Q. How do I become more involved in the Maize Rage?

A. The 'core' of the Rage meets on Monday nights at 7 pm.  The location of these meetings changes, so check the facebook group "Maize Rage" or e-mail Steve Wolters at wolters@umich.edu.

Q. How do I get to sit in the bleachers during the games?

A. There are approximately 600 bleacher tickets awarded each year, and they are awarded firstly on how many years you've held basketball tickets in a row, and secondly on the number of credits you have.

Q: How do I become a member of the 'core'?

A: Come to a Monday night meeting and be sure to let either Grant Robinson or Steve Wolters know that you're interested in being a core member, and then they'll add you to the Maize Rage Core email list.  Or, you could email Vince Coughlin at vinnyc@umich.edu to become a member of the email list. At that point, you'll know what's going on with the Rage, behind-the-scenes style, and after that it's all up to you whether or not you want to start helping out!

Q: Are the Monday night meetings open to everyone?

A: YES. Anyone can attend the meetings. There is no exclusion when it comes to being a part of the "core" or attending the Monday night meetings. All are welcome to the Monday night meetings, and all are welcome to put in input, commentary, etc into the meetings. There is no need to be shy or hold back your Michigan pride and ideas for support..

Q: How do I make a proper proposal for Maize Rage?

A: The guidelines for a proposal can be found here. Once you have written it up and submitted it on a Monday night meeting, you will present it and the entire core will vote on it.

Q: What are the voting guidelines for the meetings?

A: The voting guidelines can be found in this document. Basically, anyone who attends a Monday night meeting can vote on the proposal being brought up that evening. As for the Annual Elections, please check the guidelines for the proper information.
