Open Enrollment


Open Enrollment is an annual event, usually held in October, during which eligible faculty, staff members, and retirees can elect new benefits or change benefits enrollments for the upcoming year, with the changes effective January 1.

Open Enrollment for electing benefits for 2009 will take place Monday, October 13 through Friday, October 24, 2008.

Information on 2009 plan options, rates, and instructions on how to make benefits elections will be posted here as soon as it is available.

However, if any provision on the benefits plans is unclear or ambiguous, the Benefits Office reserves the right to interpret the plan and resolve the problem. If any inconsistency exists between this site and the written plans or contracts, the actual provisions of each benefit plan will govern. The University in its sole discretion may modify, amend, or terminate the benefits provided with respect to any individual receiving benefits, including active employees, retirees, and their spouses, partners, and dependents.
