"In Business, as the world's leading center for international commerce, London provided me with unrestricted access to the world's most prestigious consulting firms, and enabled me to foster relationships with key companies that I targeted for recruiting purposes. I was literally within a cab's ride of the headquarters of some of the largest global companies in Europe.

The International MBA Exchange Program

The International Exchange Program provides semester-long study abroad programs with partner Business Schools worldwide. Students register for a "full load" at host institutions (each school has its own definition of full load/full-time). Students must register for Business electives only at host institution (credit is not accepted for non-business courses).

To receive credit toward the MBA, students register for Strategy 689 (a Pass/Fail course) at UM. Students who take a full load at host institution can earn 15 credits of Bus Ad credit toward their degree.

List of Recent UM Students on Exchange

Tuition is paid to UM for the full-time credit course. Students are responsible for room, board, books, travel costs, etc., and should work with the coordinator at the host institution regarding courses, visa, and more.

All core courses must be fulfilled at RBS (MBA Day students should have first-year core completed before participating in Exchange; Evening students must have core completed before participating in Exchange; students must take a full-load at host school). Degree requirements cannot be fulfilled at the host school.

Apply to the International Exchange Program Deadline: July 1, 2008
