Parking:
Parking in Ann Arbor is extremely limited. There are public
parking meters on E. Washington Street, directly in front of the
Rackham Building. There are also city and privately operated
parking structures around the campus area. Most public parking
areas are well marked with signage. Recommended public parking
structures near Rackham include the City's Maynard Street Structure,
accessible from either Maynard Street or Thompson Street between Liberty
Street and William Street, or the University's new
Palmer Parking Structure,
with a public entrance near the west end of Palmer Drive.
Palmer Drive intersects Washtenaw Avenue near Huron Street, between the
two pedestrian bridges.
