Dementia
Causes:
Disorder of the four humours. According to British physician William
Cullen, this mental illness is recognizable by a "debilitation with
deficiencies in functioning of intellect and will with constricted play
of emotions" (5).
Recipe:
The treatment for dementia is aimed at resolving the disorder within the body. A tea mixture with foxglove works to balance internal fluids. The effectiveness of this treatment is heightened by combining it with the ritual of Blood-letting (6).
