Hallucinations

Causes:

Hallucinations are caused by "false or distorted perception of objects or events with an overwhelming sense of their reality" (19). In simple terms, these patients see things that are not really there.

Recipe:

A well known prescription for curing hallucinations is "wolf's flesh, well-dressed and sodden, is to be eaten" by people suffering from thes images. It is believed that "the apparitions which ere appeared to him, shall not disquiet him." (20)
