Our scheduling policy is as follows:

Experiments can be scheduled at most a month in advance (e.g. - we will not schedule anything for June until may 1st).  Initially, investigators can only schedule a maximum of 16 hours per week and 32 per month, BUT..... If there are still openings a week prior to the scanning time, these restrictions are lifted, so do check the schedule regularly.

Please try to have the subjects consented and trained by the time the scan is scheduled to start.  This usually means having enough people so that you are training a subject while you are scanning another.  Please do not be late.  If you are often late often, you will be given lower priority for future scheduling.

  • In the future, we will schedule experiments automatically through a web based program, but for now, email us, and we will fit you in the schedule.   Please include the following information in your e-mail :

      • Principal investigator's name:

      • Grant (or pilot project) Title:

      • IRB approval number:

      • IRB expiration date:

      • Type of Scan (regularly funded scan / pilot  / protocol rehearsal / technical development) :

      • UM sub-account information (if not an approved FMRI lab pilot project):

      • Number of hours required :

      • Times requested :

      • Alternate times if first choice not available :
