Presenting a Professional Image

Sometimes others’ impressions are more influenced by how you speak and dress than by what you say or know. Using lectures, discussions, interactive exercises and videotaping, you will receive feedback on how to improve your professional image while still maintaining your individual style.

You will learn to:

  • Improve the first impression of your professional image in six different ways
  • Utilize vocal techniques for better communication
  • Use body language to refine your image

You will benefit by:

  • Speaking confidently to others
  • Communicating more clearly
  • Increasing your credibility
  • Improving your professional image

Audience:
All staff members interested in developing a more dynamic and professional image

Program Note:
It is strongly recommended that participants come dressed in professional attire, as the instructor also includes feedback on personal appearance related to conveying a professional image.

Prepare, Practice, and Present

This course provides interactive activities to help you prepare and deliver professional presentations. You will receive individualized feedback and reviews of in-class presentations
