The China Data Center of the University of Michigan

http://www.umich.edu/~iinet/chinadata/cdc_intro.htm

The China Data Center is a new initiative to advance the study and understanding of China. A primary goal of the Center is the integration of historical, social and natural science data in a geographic information system, where spatial and temporal references are maintained through a relational database. This will facilitate comparative and interdisciplinary uses of the data, enable both non-specialists and China scholars to understand and utilize these data, and enhance knowledge of China.

>The China Survey Project of the China Data Center has been created to serve as a clearing-house of information regarding projects about China at the University of Michigan. To learn more about this project, please access the main website of the China Data Center and click on "China Survey Project.
