An ever-changing range of University of Michigan faculty
is involved in the training and mentoring of IPCAA students.
There is, however, a 'core' group of professors (those
in the sponsoring departments of Classical Studies and
The History of Art) who are most immediately involved
in student instruction and advising.
Governance of the Program lies in the hands of an IPCAA
Director and Graduate Advisor, and of an Executive Committee
comprised of faculty from several departments (usually
Anthropology, History, and Near Eastern Studies, in
addition to its formal co-sponsors, Classical Studies
and The History of Art).
Administrative staff support for IPCAA is provided
by a Student Services Assistant based in the Kelsey
Museum.
