This networking and servicing organization, International Students Inc. (ISI), links us to similar groups and services around the USA and the world.

ISI is a nation-wide service organization of Christians serving international students, scholars, professionals, and their families of all nations and religions. Begun 52 years ago, ISI staff now direct over 22,000 American volunteer workers offering social, cultural, spiritual and educational programs for internationals in 300 cities in the USA. People of every country and religion, or no religion are warmly welcome in all our programs. You can feel comfortable in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual respect, cultural sharing, interesting discussions, English language practice, fun activities, tours and other programs.

In addition to International Friendship at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, a similar International Fellowship serves internationals at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. (Contact cwhardy@provide.net) These two groups are served by four ISI staff couples and an ISI staff woman directing hundreds of community volunteers offering friendship and practical helps, with a 31 year history of service.
