New Deployment Activity - Fixed Dates Per Semester.
Instructors wishing to use software requiring installation on LRC computers may request a new deployment. Dates for requesting additions to the LRC load set are fixed per semester according to the following schedule:
| Semester Software to be Used |
Request deadline |
| Fall |
July 1st |
| Winter |
November 1st |
| Spring/Summer |
March 1st |
Instructors are requested to do the following:
- New deployment requests can be made via the online
reservations form. In addition to completing the new deployment section of the form instructors should also complete the classroom reservation section at the same time to insure room availability.
- Verify the requested software is not currently deployed in the
LRC. List of deployed hardware and software Mac

- The instructor should be prepared to meet with
LRC staff to discuss the activity and review the software requested
for deployment if necessary.
After receiving the request LRC staff will assess the feasibility of deploying the software
in the LRC computing environment and work with the instructor to make
sure the desired pedagogical goals are met.
The LRC is committed to providing a secure, stable computing environment for all its constituents. Please understand that just because a piece of software
works somewhere else, that does not mean it meets the security, stability, and functionality requirements for deployment in a managed computing environment. LRC staff will work
diligently to accommodate all requests. In the event an application
proves incompatible with the computing infrastructure, the instructor may
have to re-evaluate his or her plans and schedule other activities.
