Resources for Students at the LRC

**Important**
If you wish to present a power-point presentation in class, you must have your instructor reserve our equipment. It is recommended that you reserve a cart at least 1 week in advance: 1)we only have 2 carts, and one may not be available. 2) you need time to learn how to use the equipment and test your media. More Information

Study Groups -The LRC sponsors study groups for certain languages during the fall and winter semesters. Here is a list of them.

Meet with an advisor from LS&A during the fall/winter semesters in Alcove C (Starting Tuesday September 14, 2004).

Meet with German instructors: Monday-Thursday, 2-5pm in Alcove B.

  • Ask for help with your homework
  • Get advice on how to study
  • Get clarification on points of grammar
  • Get more practice
  • Just come to converse in German!

 

Equipment for Class Presentations

Need to use media in your class presentation? Have your instructor contact us, equipres@umich.edu, at least 1 week in advance to make a reservation for:

  • VCR/DVD carts
  • Computer Cart for your powerpoint presentations
  • Boomboxes (no advance reservation necessary)

As a student, you can check out equipment without an instructor's proxy from LS&A Media Services, 763-4048
