**Important**
If you wish to present a power-point presentation in
class, you must have your instructor reserve our equipment. It is recommended
that you reserve a cart at least 1 week in advance: 1)we only have 2 carts,
and one may not be available. 2) you need time to learn how to use the
equipment and test your media. More

Purchase Course-sets/Media
At the request of your instructor, the LRC provides low cost supplementary
audio and video material for sale. We accept Cash or Check (made payable
to University of Michigan). Talk to your instructor for more information.
Purchase Convenience Items
You can purchase the following items at the main center front desk (between the hours of 8:30am- 5pm weekdays only)
- Blue books
- floppy disks (MAC and PC)
- Zip disks
- Blank Audio Cassettes

We have resources to help you with your language studies. Most materials are for use in the LRC main center (cannot be checked out).

Tutoring and Study Groups/Conversation Partners
If you are interested in finding a private tutor, contact the relevant language department for a list of tutors.
Study Groups -The LRC sponsors study groups for certain languages during the fall and winter semesters. Here is a list of them.

- Das DeutschLabor (German Lab), M-Th 2-5pm
- Talk to an LS&A advisor fall/winter semesters.
LS&A Advising
Meet with an advisor from LS&A during the fall/winter semesters in Alcove C (Starting Tuesday September 14, 2004).
- Tuesdays from 1-3pm.
Deutschlabor (German Lab)
Meet with German instructors: Monday-Thursday, 2-5pm in Alcove B.
- Ask for help with your homework
- Get advice on how to study
- Get clarification on points of grammar
- Get more practice
- Just come to converse in German!
Equipment for Class Presentations
Need to use media in your class presentation? Have your instructor contact us, equipres@umich.edu, at least 1 week in advance to make a reservation for:
- VCR/DVD carts
- Computer Cart for your powerpoint presentations
- Boomboxes (no advance reservation necessary)
As a student, you can check out equipment without an instructor's proxy from LS&A Media Services, 763-4048
