Saturn
by David P Tucker

This is a True Color image of Saturn I took at last nights open house
(March 4, 2006) at Peach Mountain. Its interesting that its fairly comparable to the
Naked Eye views through some of the better telescopes last night, except that
my picture doesnt show Saturns moons, which are clearly visible looking through the scope.
I couldnt make them visible in the photograph without over-exposing the planet itself.
I guess the human eye still has far larger dynamic range then a CCD chip :)
