Wendy Uhlmann, MS, CGC, has been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Human Genetics effective March 1, 2008.

Effective March 2008, Gilbert Omenn, M.D., Ph.D., was elected to the Board of The Salzburg Global Seminar, in Salzburg, Austria.

Gilbert Omenn, M.D., Ph.D., chaired the National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council Committee on Measuring the Efficiency of Research at EPA and Other Federal Agencies, released February 2008.

Kathleen R. Cho, M.D., was named the first Peter A. Ward Endowed Professor of Pathology effective December 13, 2007.

Gilbert Omenn, M.D., Ph.D., received the Distinguished Service Award from the International Human Proteome Organization at the World Congress in Seoul, Korea, in October 2007.
