the inhaler comfortably in the hand. |
| The
metal canister should be upright with the thumb securely on the bottom
and the first or second finger securely placed in the concave top.
The hand and fingers should be dry. |
| If
the grip is not secure or if the hand is wet, the inhaler may slip
out the hand during the activation step and may hit the lips and/or
the teeth. |
| If
the inhaler is positioned upside down, the metered valve will not
fill correctly and the dose will not be accurate. |
