Superhuman Powers: Jubilee has the ability to create energy balls. She can arrange them, direct them, and cause them to explode. With these energy globes Jubilee can cause anything from colorful sparkles to temporarily blind opponents to powerful detonations.
Biography: Jubilee's parent's were killed when she was very young, thus she was forced to live in the Los Angeles County Junvenile Hall. There she became rebellious and learned to fight. The authorities of the juvenile home decided to send her to an orphanage, and Jubilee ran away for fear that she would end up living with her only living relatives who lived in Communist China. Jubilee camped out at the Hollywood mall. It was here where she became a petty theif and first discovered her powers. One day, while trapped in a corner by mall security, she unknowingly activated her superpowers. Later, mall securtiy called on the mutant hunting team the M. squad to help capture Jubilee. Nevertheless, the M. Squad was foiled by several female members of the X-Men, including Rogue and Storm, who were in the mall that day. Jubilee became fascinated with them and followed them through a portal to Australia, and there she hid watching and learning from the X-Men. After the X-Men abandoned this post and Wolverine was captured, Jubilee helped free him. Thereafter, Jubilee began to accompany Wolverine on his travels and eventually was able to meet Dr. Xavier, the founder of the X-Men. She continued to accompany Wolverine on his missions and otherwise worked with the X-Men. When Dr. Xavier founded a new school for mutants and a new mutant team, Generation X, he asked her to join.
