Superhuman Powers: Storm has the ability to manipulate the weather. She can generate rain, snow, sleet, hail, or fog, and she can generate winds in varying intensities up to hurricane. Storm can also control the humidity, and induce electrical phenomena such as lightening.
Biography: Ororo was born a mutatn to a journalist and an African princess. As with all mutants, her superhuman powers are a result of the genetic structure that she was born with; nevertheless, the powers of mutants do not manifest themselves until the mutant reaches puberty. Her parents died in a plane crash when she was very young, and she joined a ban of theives after their deaths. It was during this period that she first came in contact with professor Xavier, the founder of Xavier's School for Gifted Children (a front for a mutant academy). Storm stole from the professor then, but she would not meet him again for another twelve years or so. Later in Africa, Ororo's powers manifested, and she used them to help people in the area. She was worshipped as a storm goddess in Africa because of her mutant abilities. Although she was living a life that gained her much respect and power while helping those around her, she still felt that something was missing in her life. Professor Xavier later came to Africa and convinced her to use her powers for the good of all humanity, and she joined the X-Men.
