The University of Michigan’s Science Learning Center will host a national conference June 3 - 5, 2008 for staff and faculty who work with college science students outside of the classroom.

The conference will provide a gathering place for a diverse group of educators, including learning center professionals, program directors, faculty, and others who are all committed to supporting undergraduate science students. We are inviting educators from all types of colleges and universities, including two-year community colleges and four-year comprehensive, liberal arts, and research institutions.

The conference will include presentations on a diverse range of topics that highlight new and innovative programs, connections between current theory and practice, and discussions about the important questions facing science educators.
