Students Organizing for Labor and Economic Equality (SOLE) is a student organization at the University of Michigan. Since 1999, we have been affiliated with a national student organization, United Students Against Sweatshops (USAS).

We advocate for social and labor justice through direct action, education, and nationally coordinated campaigns. Our fight is for worker's rights and the struggle for an alternative to corporate domination, both locally and globally.

Over the course of last semester (fall 2007) we managed to pay off the arrest fines of 9 of the Sweatfree 12, as well as held many events on campus to continue pressure on the University administration to go sweatfree.
