Student Forum: The annual conference of the United Methodist Student Movement is offering spiritual development and leadership training for college and university students. The Student Forum will be held this year on the campus of American University in Washington, D.C. Pick up a brochure at the Wesley Foundation or talk to Eric. | On-going | Service Opportunity- First United Methodist Church is kicking off the L.O.V.E. Thy Neighbor Program this month. Their first project is a bag lunch creation and distribution for the hungry people of Ann Arbor. There are two ways to volunteer. (1.) food prep and packaging on Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and (2.) distribution of lunches from 6:45 to 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Please let Eric know if you would be interested in either of these opportunities. Later this month we'll form a team and talk to the leaders of L.O.V.E. about volunteering. |
