  1. MAIS runs a query of all eligible Graduate Students enrolled in benefits during the winter term. (File format: Microsoft Excel 2000)
  2. The Benefits Office segments the query into individual department sections and sends each section file as an email attachment to the Department Manager/Personnel Recipient.

  4. The Benefits Office compiles all returned sections and sends to MAIS.
  5. A process to determine the amount of additional deductions is run in the M-Pathways HRMS system, and the file is sent to the Benefits Office with additional deduction amounts.
  6. The Benefits Office verifies the additional deduction amounts and approves loading the file into the M-Pathways HRMS database.
  7. MAIS loads the file prior to the April monthly payroll.
