Activities

The Society of Les Voyageurs hosts a variety of activities. We have potluck dinners at the cabin every Sunday at 6, usually followed by a program of environmental interest, like a movie or speaker. You can also find us canoeing, hanging out in the wood-fired sauna, dumpster diving and playing music many other days of the week.

Weekend excursions and trips during breaks are planned several times a semester. The society is essentially a group of friends who pool vehicles, gear, and expertise. Trips have occured with as few as two or three people, or with all of the LVs and numerous guests. Trips in the past year have included cross-country skiing up north, caving and climbing in Kentucky, ice-climbing in Canada, and canoeing on the Au Sable.

Check out the Photos page to see some trips we've taken in the past.

Everyone Welcome! Sunday potluck dinners every week at the cabin, 6 PM. Check out our contact page for a map of how to get to the cabin.
