Leningrad Cowboys Go America (1989)
To stop having to listen to an inept but dedicated troupe of Finnish accordian musicians, a record producer advises them to go to America, and paints a glowing picture of the success they will enjoy there. 7 lads and one very frozen corpse dress as true hipster musicians (ducktails, sunglasses, fur coats, pointy-toed shoes) and head for New York, where a wise guy sends them off to Mexico to play his cousin's wedding (he apparently hates his cousin).

In 1971 some of the greatest artists in popular music history traveled from the United States to Ghana, West Africa, to take part in a 14-hour musical celebration, Soul To Soul.
