Celebrating the harvest
Visitors at the U-M Sustainable Food Program's Harvest Festival at Matthaei Botanical Gardens recently enjoyed locally grown food, music, and activities for all ages. The festival promoted awareness about local food options by featuring dishes made from fresh ingredients grown on a two-acre parcel at the gardens that is tended by U-M student volunteers.
