The rhythm of Ghana
During a recent visit to Ghana, Stamps School of Art & Design students stayed at a cultural center that organizes papermaking, bookbinding, ceramics, computer skills, literacy and art workshops. While there, local children taught them the papermaking process — including how to pound boiled leaves into a pulp with a wooden mortar and pestle.
