Diving for a cure

Two graduate students collect sponge and tunicate samples, and sediments off the coast of Costa Rica. They are working on a project with U-M Professor David Sherman that is exploring the biochemical pathways of marine microoganisms with the goal of finding new drug candidates for infectious diseases and cancers.
