Storm chaser

Perry Samson, a professor of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences (AOSS), studies the intersection of weather and climate. Each summer, he organizes a storm-chasing trip for U-M students studying meteorology. Along with other AOSS researchers, he also developed a website that tracks tornados across the country in real time.
