Notable campus art
Two outdoor works that grace the front of the U-M Museum of Art —“Orion” (2006), the red sculpture to the left, and “Shang” (1984-85), the brown sculpture pictured center—are by Mark di Suvero, a sculptor who was just honored by President Obama with a National Medal of Arts award.
