Making waves: U-M’s 3D lab
What do a jet ski simulator, a virtual classroom prototype, and the digital “mending” of a mastodon have in common? They’re all activities taking place at the 3D Lab on North Campus.

Fresh faces
The 6,300 freshmen who enrolled in 2010 came from over 1,650 different high schools. They had an average GPA of 3.8 and over 3,000 received advanced standing credit.

Room to grow
