According to federal statistics, only 27 percent of full-time college students at public universities graduate within four years. At U-M, 70 percent of students graduate within four years.

Leafy Legacy

Approximately 57% of U-M’s campus land is dedicated to natural green space. This includes the more than 700 acres of gardens, research areas, and natural preserves managed by Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum.

Dancing Americas

The U-M School of Music, Theatre & Dance’s (SMTD) University Dance Company presented its 2011 concert at the Power Center. “Dancing Americas” celebrated the intertwining of music and culture throughout the Americas. All performers were SMTD undergraduate and graduate students and faculty.
