Bachelor General Studies (BGS) Advising - LSA
The Bachelor in General Studies (BGS) degree is an alternative to the Bachelor of Arts (AB) or the Bachelor of Science(BS)degrees through the college of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA). This degree program appeals to students with many interdisciplinary interests who want to design a program of study that is a bit more flexible. Individual Concentration Program (ICP) - LSA
The Individual Concentration Program (ICP) offers students in LSA an opportunity to plan and design their own interdisciplinary concentrations. It allows students to integrate coursework from across the College to gain a more comprehensive understanding of a given academic issue. Through an Individual Concentration, students have the opportunity to develop academic programs that integrate the rich array of disciplinary perspectives available in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. International Center - Advising
This International Center site provides advising contact information and hours of operation for students interested in education abroad (study, internships, research and service-learning), and for international students and visiting scholars. More specifically, international students may find help here as they adjust to the US (laws and visas), get comfortable with the University (with its classroom culture and student responsibilities), and make effective course choices for academic study.
LSA Honors Program Advising
The Honors Program is a four-year program that provides rich and challenging academic offerings to talented and highly motivated students in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Advisers help students clarify their intellectual interests, create connection with faculty and research fellows, and become aware of the rich opportunities of a large University while being part of a smaller community.
Newnan LSA Academic Advising Center

Peer Academic Advising Office - LSA

School of Nursing - Advising
Students interested in the RN Studies Program at the U-M may speak with an academic advisor prior to admissions to learn more about the program and develop enrollment plans to complete RN Studies Program requirements. The RN advisor also approves all transfer courses, handles guest applications, receives transcripts from courses taken outside of the School of Nursing (SoN), and assists students experiencing academic difficulties.
