Arts & Culture

The arts are essential to shaping our identities and understanding what it means to be a citizen of a diverse society. U-M integrates the visual, performing, and literary arts into the student experience, but also seeks to be an active contributor to the cultural life of the community. From student and faculty performances, to exhibits and gallery shows, to international touring productions, U-M actively sponsors and promotes hundreds of events every year, many of which are free to the public or offer reduced student rates.
