ABOUT THE CITIZENS’ HEALTH CARE WORKING GROUP
In recent polls, health care scored as one of the top two issues concerning Americans. Everyone agrees that it’s not working now, but what we can do to fix it is the real question.
Congress and the President created the Citizens’ Health Care Working Group (CHCWG) to hear what you think and then recommend how to make health care work for all Americans.
Guided by legislation sponsored by senators Orrin G. Hatch (R–Utah) and Ron Wyden (D–Oregon), the CHCWG is tasked with examining innovative ways to shape health care policy that will benefit all Americans. Read more “Fast Facts” about the Working Group
The CHCWG is partnering in this effort with a number of professional, government, and community organizations, as well as corporations, including:
- American Academy of Family Physicans
- American College of Physicians
- American Public Health Association
- Federation of American Hopsitals
- Fry’s Food and Drug Stores

- National Association of Realtors
- National Governors Association
- National Health Care for the Homeless Council
