Education fair April 7 highlights computer-related careers
ANN ARBOR, MichWhere can people in the Ann
Arbor area go to develop skills for a career in Information Technology?
The University of Michigan's Center for the Education of Women,
funded by a grant from the Intel Corporation, is sponsoring an Education
Fair on April 7 to help area residents investigate their educational
options. The fair will be held 7-8:30 p.m. at the IT Zone, 330 E.
Liberty, near the corner of Liberty and Division streets in downtown
Ann Arbor.
The Education Fair is free and open to the public.
It offers an opportunity to learn about and compare training options
and requirements for jobs in information technology. Representatives
from many of the area's higher education institutions, including
U-M, Eastern Michigan University, Washtenaw Community College, UM-Dearborn,
Cleary University, and Davenport University, will be present to
explain their computer-related programs.
