Faith meets science: Religious views on climate change

In recent years, there's been a growing concern within the religious community about the spiritual and ethical dimensions of climate change. To explore this topic, Andrew Hoffman, a professor of sustainable enterprise at the University of Michigan, organized a conference titled "Religious Perspectives on Climate Change: Turning Faith into Action."

The conference brought together religious leaders and academics representing diverse religions: Catholics, Evangelical Protestants, Hindus, Buddhists, Jainists, Muslims and Jews. The University of Michigan News Service spoke with Hoffman and several other conference participants about the links between climate change and religion.
