Cultural Opportunities

In addition to being a premiere research institution and a great school for virtually any field of study, the University of Michigan is home to an amazing array of cultural events. Many world-renowned performers include Ann Arbor on their short list of cities to visit each year. Your son or daughter has one of the best cultural communities in the world at his or her fingertips! Encourage your son or daughter to take advantage of these many opportunities and to develop a life-long appreciation of the arts.

To introduce students to the University's rich performing arts heritage, Arts at Michigan offers the Arts Adventure Series. The Arts Adventure Series brings you the best of the performing arts in one convenient package! Four dynamic cultural opportunities are offered each semester for one low price. Combining world renowned artists presented by the University Musical Society with the student productions from U-M's nationally recognized School of Music, the series is a great entrée to the performing arts at Michigan. The Arts Adventure Series makes a great gift idea for care packages!

We hope you will also take advantage of Michigan's cultural offerings when you visit your son or daughter on campus. No matter when you visit, you are sure to find many performances, exhibits, dance recitals, and much more. In particular, tickets to many performances will be offered during Parents Weekend.
