The Chancellor’s key duties include leading the University of Michigan-Flint in its charted institutional course outlined in the Strategic Plan by seeking to foster growth in enrollment and initiatives that support academic excellence and student achievement. The University’s mission rests on three pillars: excellence in teaching, learning and scholarship; student centeredness; and engaged citizenship.
