Requests to U-M Gateway

To add an officially sponsored website to the U-M Gateway, or update an existing link on the Gateway, read the information below, then send e-mail to um-gateway@umich.edu.

Please note that:

  • The Gateway does not link to personal web pages.
  • The Gateway does not link to commercial websites.
  • All websites that are linked from the U-M Gateway must meet the requirements outlined in the U-M Internet Publishing Policies, Guidelines, and Instructions. Please review these guidelines. Your site will be linked to the Gateway when it meets these requirements.
  • We appreciate advance notice of URL changes on your Gateway-linked sites, and we strongly encourage redirects from obsolete URLs.

In your e-mail, please include the:

  • Title of the site
  • Web address (URL)
  • Suggested U-M Gateway page(s) url(s) for inclusion
  • Administrative contact and e-mail adddress
  • University account number and authorized signer (for verification only; you will not be billed)
