IN THIS ISSUE
Through its Annual Newsletter the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) brings to faculty, staff, and students items related to preserving and promoting the well-being of the professoriate, enhancing the quality of instruction, and serving the educational interests of the public. Included in this newsletter are articles on the value of faculty-conducted evaluations of university administrators (Richard L. Alfred) and on the outcome of the first set of such evaluations conducted this past December at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (John T. Lehman).
