This is the website of an organization who is dedicated to educating the American public about Puerto Rico, its current status in the Union, and why they believe it is in the United States' best interest to grant Puerto Rico statehood. They provide descriptions of why the United States should want Puerto Rico to be a state, why Puerto Rico should want to be a state, what it would cost a U.S. tax payer to bring Puerto Rico into the fold, why the issue is of immediate importance, as well as the economic arguments for statehood. It also provides up to date coverage of the current issues surrounding this debate.

This is the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States.  Founded in 1947, it serves as the United States’ intelligence community.  The CIA’s World Fact Book is information is provided by the government and is public.  The information covers many different topics from over 120 countries.  We focused on information from the United States and Puerto Rico.

A collaboration of many legal documents and reports focusing on the constitutional factors surrounding Puerto Rico.  Cordasco also includes many authors and inserts from the island and the Puerto Rican communities in the United States.

This site provides statistics concerning language, income, crime, and employment patterns in Puerto Rico. It compares information about those topics between Puerto Rico and the United States.

This source seeks to convince other organizations across the nation to support their movement in supporting Puerto Rican statehood. It is almost like a petition for attracting like minded organizations to their political trail. This is a document and an article that quotes a man by the name of Padilla on basic reasons and facts, economic and otherwise, why Puerto Rico should gain statehood. It addresses why Americans and Puerto Ricans alike should support the campaign.

This website provides an overview of the pros and cons for Puerto Rico and the United States in regards to statehood as well as independence. It also describes Puerto Rico's current status as commonwealth and the pros of maintaining this status. This site is helpful because argues all sides of the subject and gives unbiased information.

This source is meant to enlighten outsiders on the position and point of view of the Popular Democratic Party, also know as the "Commonwealth" party, from Puerto Rico. This website seeks to prove not only the party's but the Puerto Rican citizens' commitment, perseverance and loyalty for over one hundred years to the United States of America. It states reasons why they created their current commonwealth status and why they should maintain this position under the Federal Constitution's territory clause.
