BIO

Michael Eisenberg graduated from the Performing Arts Technology program at the University of Michigan in April 2006, and is currently the Assistant Sound Engineer for Goodspeed Musical's National Tour of "Pippin". Upon leaving Ann Arbor, he became the archivist and assistant to Abe Jacob, who is considered the godfather of theatrical sound design and the man who pioneered several techniques used in sound reinforcement today. Work with Abe Jacob has included the system design for the Broadway Sound Master Class, a concert at the General Assembly of the United Nations, and a series of concerts with company members of the New York City Opera at Bryant Park. In addition to working for Abe, Michael has worked for the New YorkState Theater at Lincoln Center on various projects, including "Grendel: Transcendence of the Great Big Bad": a new opera directed by Julie Taymor.
