Ravi and Aravinda
Ravi Kuchimanchi and L.S. Aravinda are two of AID's representatives in India. It is crucial for the organization to have dedicated people to visit projects and serve as coordinators between India and the United States. Ravi and Aravinda have taken on this role as well as doing so many other things. They are also members of the Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA), a group dedicated to saving the people of the Narmada River valley from the ill-conceived Sardar Sarovar dam project which has already displaced thousands of people and continues to do so. Ravi and Aravinda discussed their work with the NBA as well as their views on AID and the direction for AID. Ravi Kuchimanchi was one of the founders of AID in College Park, Maryland.
