On Sunday November 1st, 2009 the University of Michigan Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi will be hosting the 1st annual 5K Loop For Lance. This charity event will raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  We are looking to make the Loop a major campus event every year!

This year, the Loop will begin and end at Nichols Arboretum, at the entrance near Mary Markley Hall and the Ronald McDonald House (Washington Heights).

The run/walk will start at 2:00pm, but please try to arrive by 1:30pm to ensure that everyone has been registered.

The run/walk costs $10 for pre-registration or $15 if you register the day of the run, which starts at 1:00pm.  The registration price includes snacks after the race and refreshments.  Those who pre-register will receive a free 2009 Loop for Lance t-shirt!

For those of you who wish to sign up as a group, click here to visit our Registration page. If your group has the most number of people participating, 10% of the total proceeds from the race will be sent to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in your group name.

All proceeds from the Loop will be donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  In addition to the race, we will be selling the coveted yellow Livestrong bracelets for $2.
