Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Skill Divisions:
* white
* blue
* purple

Submission Wrestling Skill Divisions:
* intermediate: less than 2 years
* advanced: 2+ years

The weight divisions for the Wolverine Classic men's brazilian jiu-jitsu matches conform to the Confederacao Brasileira de Jiu-Jitsu standard. All weights below are in pounds.

Men's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Weight Divisions:
* rooster: 137.0-below
* feather: 148.0-137.1
* light: 148.1 - 160
* middle: 160.1 - 174
* super middle: 174.1 - 188
* cruiser: 188.1 - 201
* heavy: 201.1 - 214
* super heavy: 214.1 - over
* purple belt: open

Men's Submission Wrestling Weight Divisions:
* rooster: 140.0-below
* feather: 140.1 - 154
* light: 154.1 - 170
* middle: 170.1 - 185
* cruiser: 185.1 - 204
* heavy: 204.1 - over

Women's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Weight Divisions:
weight classes to be determined the morning of the event
