Seventh-day Sabbath
As Bible believing Christians, we seek to honor God by following His example and instruction in keeping the seventh day of the week holy. The entire day is to be set aside for holy communion with the family of God and our Heavenly Father. Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man and so we believe that the Sabbath invites all who would, to come and receive the refreshing bounties of the day of rest given to humanity by Christ. We trust that all who come will find that the Sabbath is truly a sanctuary in time, to escape the normal burdens and ills of university life in order to be revived to perfect peace within the soul.
Worship Service
Among the many ways that we spend this heavenly family time is in worship together. In Luke 4:16 we are told that it was Jesus's custom to enter into the synagogue (church) on the Sabbath day. In following our Lord's example, we desire to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together as we see the coming of our Lord drawing nearer each day. We gather in this capacity to draw near to God and encounter Him through prayer, praise and most importantly the word of God.
Fellowship
Every Sabbath following the worship service, a delicious vegetarian potluck is provided at the Ladies CAMPUS house. Everyone is invited. Outreach programs and Sundown worships also follow in the evening. |
