Rushing Alpha Chi Sigma

Alpha Beta Chapter

About Us

By fostering a strong brotherhood through social events, active community outreach, and collective chapter goals, our group has become an organization of students who benefit themselves, serve their community, and make lifelong friendships. While we are a professional chemical fraternity, our members come from a diverse background of majors and career goals that is focused primarily in the sciences. If you’re interested in joining a close group full of friendly and driven students that is focused on the sciences while offering numerous opportunities for leadership and service, consider rushing Alpha Chi Sigma. For more information check out our website.

Meet the Rush Chair

Hi everyone! My name is Clara Kim and I am the rush chair for Fall 2018. I'm a third year senior majoring in Cellular Molecular Biology and French. After undergrad, I hope to one day become a physician scientist! I joined Alpha Chi Sigma Winter 2017, and to this date, this organization has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in college! Because of Alpha Chi Sigma, I have been able to experience impactful volunteering and community outreach, professional development, academic support, and most importantly, a welcoming sense of family at the University of Michigan. I am so excited to introduce this amazing group to our new rush class, and to get to know everyone throughout rush week! If you hold a love for science and are in search of a supportive and close-knit community, please consider attending an information session to learn more about rushing Alpha Chi Sigma!

Feel free to contact me at clarakim@umich.edu if you have any questions or concerns regarding the rush process.
