Chemistry Demonstrations at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

Alpha Chi Sigma is working together with the hands on museum to have a chemistry demonstration in the fall.

The Memorial Bartell Lectureship

The Bartell Memorial Lecture is held annually at the University of Michigan.  It honors the late Floyd E. Bartell, a pioneer in the field of colloidal chemistry and a founding member of the Alpha Beta chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma.  The lectureship is a joint venture between the Alpha Beta chapter and the University of Michigan Chemistry Department, and it brings a distinguished physical chemist (usually a Nobel Laureate) to campus.

This year we will be having the Bartell Lecture, and we are currently have a candidate, and are working out the details fo the date on which he will be in town and give the lecture. We are also planning one for next year.
